For sensitization of farmers, Border Welfare Society (NGO) and KVK, Cachar organized an one day training cum awareness programme of Agricultural.
72 nos farmers participate in the programme. The participants were mainly from various farmer's community from Katigorah block area.
At the outset of the programme Kapil Ahmed Barbhuiya, chief executive of the NGO extended warm welcome to all the dignitaries and trainees. Kapil Ahmed Barbhuiya then briefed about the objectives of the training-cum-awareness programme and mentioned that this training programme is an unique one from the point of view of involvement and development of all farmers.
Mr Ridip Ranjan, Mr Britan Rahman and Mr S.K.Bhattacharyya agricultural experts and scientist from Assam agriculture university,Jorhat Discussed about the various difficulties farmers usually face for bringing green revolution in the district and tried to motivate farmers in this direction.
