A very good book on Medicinal plants which I know is "Cultivation of medicinal and Aromatic Plants " by Ali Farooqi and Sreeramu.

There is a Medicinal Plants Conservation Centre in Poona, Maharashtra. Yoi can contact them as well if you are located close to Pune.
