Medicinal, aromatic and dye palnts

Hi!

I am doing research on medicinal, aromatic and dye plants and require immediate information on

the trade volume in Jammu & Kashmir
the endangered species in J & K
the species collected and that are harvested
the approximate trading amount of each species traded, annualy
the organisations(research, NGO's and government departments) working in this sector
if any new initiative taken by the state in terms of scheme, subsidy etc
the cultivation acreage where the plants are cultivated

These informations are seeked which will be from 2002 onwards to 2004-05.

I am eagerly looking for your help to complete my study.

Hi Indrajit,

There is a book on medicinal and aromatic plants in Jammu and Kashmir. There they mention all the endangred species of the place. Try if you can get the book which is titled "Medicinal Plants of Indian Trans-Himalaya : Focus on Tibetan Use of Medicinal Resources/C.P. Kala. " You may be able to get them in vedam book house.

As I know, some of the plants that are endangered are
