Hi,
We are growing black turmeric. When you cut a fresh piece, it has a coppersuphate blue colour inside, with a dark blue ring in the center. It has a metallic smell. The leaves are similiar to other turmeric in size and shape. It has a prominent dark line in the center. On the underside of the leave it has satin finish surface. Pl note that it is the Kasturi manjal (curcuma aromatica) which has off white colour with a grey circle in center and smells of camphor. raj menon |
