i want to know about asvagandha , i want to know the duration of the plant and the harvesting and the profitsper acre. please could you help me in this regard

First u should know the suitable areas for cultivation. Dont grow if u are located in humid region. It is most suited for areas like Rajasthan and Gujrat, Parts of MP and CG, and Bundelkahnd region of UP.Fertile soil,irrigation,excess fertilization have an adverse effect.
best time of planting first fortnight August and harvesting Feb-March before roots develop fibre. Yield maximum1000 kg worth 1.5 lacs. Minimum 300kg.
