Aeration stress in medicinal and aromatic crops

Dear medicinal and aromatic crop growers.Several of these crops are highly sensistive to aeration stress(waterlogging).Citronella,lemongrass,palmaro sa,kalmegh(andrographis paniculata),aloe,musli,aswagandha,sarpgandha (Rauvolfia serpentina),patchouli,basil,Aspragus and many others are highly sensitive crops.Water staganation for a short period may cause seriosus damage to plantation.Growers pl be careful and try to see that water does not stay in field because of continious rains in some parts of country.Also do not go for sowing of seeds of sensitive crops like palmarosa and aswagandha if it is raining continiously in the area.
