Information on couple of medicinal plants

Dear All,
I would like to know the cultivation practices for following 2 medicinal plants. Also I would like to know where can I get the seed material for the same, preferrably in karnataka and tamil nadu.
1. Embelia ribes - Baberang, Vayvidang in Hindi
2. Acorus calamus - The sweet flag, Boch in hindi.

Dear Sir:
You require approx.1,00,000 rhizomes per hectare for plantation.
Crop period is 9-10 months. Lots of water is required as in rice
cultivation.
