Hello,

So, as a gardener, I am very interested in medicinal plants and herbs. For instance, around here (Southern Appalachia) many old timers are doctors in their own respect, and can vouch for the truth in their very odd methods. For instance, fire breathers/fire suckers. I've had this treatment multiple times when I was younger. It is a skill handed down from generation to generation, and can even been done over the phone. Basically, the firebreather whispers very softly across the burns. After about ten minutes, the "fire" really is gone, as odd and green mileish as it sounds. Also, more believable, is Jewelweed. Jewelweed grows around where I live, and when it's made into a soap, or a tea, it eliminates Poison Ivy. So, since even the smallest scratch can become infected and put a quick end to your survival efforts in a TEOTWAWKI situation, has anyone done any research on medicinal and sustainable plant medicine? Perhaps an ebook link or a website.
