Dear Herbarian,
The demand for Moringa Leaves has been on constant increase.Earlier ,farmers were cultivating Moringa for PODS .Now a series of agripreneurs have emerged to promote only Leaves.
TACED has many such persons on its list and their performance is appreciable.The demand has been on constant increase as moringa leaves powder is used as Nutritional substitute, especially in developed countries. China, the world leader in overseas business ,procure huge quantity of Moringa Leaves from India, especially from southern parts of Tamilnadu.
The plant ,having multiple advantages may be further promoted systematically. To augment the process,TACED has planed to analyse the agro- technology and up date the demand supply status in the forthcoming meet. Mr Senna kesavan, Aged 71 Years,The pioneer in Cultivation, Processing and Export has accepted to be the key Resource person for the meet,the details given below.
