Default jatropha plant - greenhouse gas emission

My ref: IENG no. 373111, MIET no. 505330 - zero emission - CO2 credits.

Dear all,

Who can inform me?

I noted several articles as in technical journals about sugarcane and that sugarcane offers the best solution amongst the bio fuel products available.
Reference was made to a manufacturing facility at Sao Paulo (2007) in Brazil.
But no mention was made to Jatropha schrubs for comparisson.

Question:
What rating does Jartropha plant have as a positive effect on the emission of greenhouse gasses compared with sugarcane grown in Brazil?

What are the ratio's and units of measure?

Please regard the use of latest plant technology available (2008) for manufacturing bio diesel from Jatropha oil.

Thank you and kind regards,

Johan Schiphorst
