Default jatropha plant poison

My ref: IENG 373111, MIET 505330 registration with IET in GB.

Dear all,

With regards to intercropping.

What happens to the jatropha plant poison when it is exposed to air and sunlight?
Or how is it neutralized to prevent poisioning foodcrops via the soil and root system?

Thank you and kind regards,
Johan Schiphorst
