Default Jatropha.

Hello friends!

Most of the companies here are making expert or export business and busy changing their constitutions.

Its worth to see some foolproof on Jatropha plantation here in India before ditching our neighbours just to create confusions.

Already we have seen the boom since four years and the result too.
Its needless to say who is what without a firm answer for these two questions!!!
1.What is the cost of Jatropha seeds in the Market?
2.What extent or plantations of Jatropha could be seen physically anywhere in India?
I doubt seriously.
Most of the experts even struggle for a liter of Jatropha oil when asked?

Jatropha needs some true base, rather any free lectures here by few Missions and corporates of Laptops.

Thumbs up For more technical assistance

Hi,

Congratulations on your decision to go the Jatropha way. I'm sure that the plant will thrive in Bangladesh's climate with a little assistance from some experts!

There is a conference in Jakarta on 23-24 January 2008 on Jatropha. Called JatrophaWorld 2008, it is basically going to be a gathering of all the leading industry experts of Jatropha.

You might want to attend this conference to get advice from some of the leading Jatropha cultivators, who will be sharing on the best Jatropha seeds, and plantation management.

Do visit Jatropha World 2008 for more information on this exciting conference.

Divya

I have no idea in helping you to get govt.lease land in assam coz we are working on contract farming concept with farmers in the north east and also helping farmers to provide govt schemes for said plantation. If your co. can sponsor the farmers then we can help you provide thousands hacters of lands in the North East.

Dear......(k1jatrophaoils)

It is understandable that you are pointing out finger on me. This is for your kind information that, you have only seen and have theorytical idea about jatropha plantation but I am practically doing this cultivation since 4 years and at present we have around 1000ha. of said plantation in our supervision which is under our contract farming with buy back of harvested seeds. also preparing for another 5000ha. in the forthcoming season.

The Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas in its Bio Diesel Purchase Policy mentioned the rate of oil seeds as Rs.5/- per kg. which is marginal to the farmers but we are giving Rs.6/- per kg. Our collection of oil seeds will be started from next year i.e., after second year of plantation. we are also
preparing to set up Bio diesel Transestrification Unit capasity of 25MT per day.

If you really need some true base idea, I am cordially invite you to visit our sites so you could see physically the large scale plantation in our region. one thing i must suggest, you might be the master of your own but be carefull and with proper fullproof knoledge before commenting on others. People like you having books and magazine knoledges are the main problem.
