I wish to flash a news across biofuel Industry people.we are very proud to announce that Dr APJs dream of biodiesel would be sure from Tamilnadu soon.Renewable energy security would be assured.
Mr D.R.Kaarthikeyan IPS ,, and Former Director of CBI will lead this Association. Renulakshmi Agro Industries Southern Pura Biofuels Mohan Biofuels , etc will be taking a leading part in this association .The First Inagural meet at Madurai will be on 1-8-2006.we look forward to positive-minded people.
we wish to see India must be a Leader in This Biofuel sector

No doubt.
Its a good suggestion to dream about India's future on Biofuels.
I slightly differ with the idea of allowing this subject to be dominated by
1.Politicians.
2.The tired civil servants.
3.The distillary or liquor barons.
4.The more crazy Oilpalm Importers to surrender this country to Malaysia and Indonesia.

This is how FICCI and some of its corporate friends conducted various seminars and meets last year.
Unfortuynately,the real problem is No one is in a position to understand
1.Who is the authority to take this interesting sector to small and marginal farmers.
2.How best farmers are encouraged by Banks and Investors to grow crops for Biofuels?Its a dream and the whole country know this.
3.What is the role of Union Govt to really see this sector grow in par with Petroleum lobby?Iam sure not a Single Biodiesel plant is working commercially so far.
4.What is the guarantee that our country will support farmers to earn their legitimate labour if they grow fuel crops?
5.What is the need for surrendering this Agro based Industry to MNCs and Corporates?The one we are seeing for the past three years.
These are my positive doubts and need to be explained in this forum.

Iam a failure to woo investors domestically and from Banks to grow Jatropha!
But Iam firm that Biofuels need the hard work of farmers and not any Arrack merchants in this country.
