How to start agriculture while being a software professional?

Hi members,
I've around 8 acres of land near Hubli, Karnataka. I want to use that land for agriculture while continuing my career as a software engineer. Currently my relatives are using that land to grow paddy.
Please suggest me on how can I make best use of land.

you can very well use that land and that depends on the quantum of time available with you to manage the farm either weekly or monthly.
