    Dear Sir

As for as Mango cultivation is concerned

    Advantages:

    1. Local market availabilty
    2. Many Varieties are available. So you can select according to your area.
    3. This crop has been included in Carbon trading concept.
    4. The techonoly know how can be easily available.
    5. Planting material can be easily got.

    Disadvantage:

    1. Proper maintenance is needed.
    2. Alternate bearing is the major problem
    3. Fruit drop
    4. Choice of variety.
    5. Maintenance cost is somewhat higher than the other fruit rops
    6.Handling of fruits after harvest.

If you are able to manage the disadvantage, surely Mango is a profitable crop.

You won't find a single soul who says he/she does'nt like mangoes.Mango is called the 'KING'of fruits and 'KING' will reign for ever.
The Mango always had a market. Alhonso is the Supreme among mangoes; Ratnagiri in Maharashtra is synonymous with 'Ratnagiri Apoos' .
Alphonso has good export potentials and sells at a premium. The taste is uncomparrable.
The most significant news is the lifting of ban by U.S. admisnistration on import of Indian Mangos. So, we can see lot of shiploads of Mangos heading to America this year. Hitherto, Gulf was the main market for Indian Mangos.
We can supply genuine Ratnagiri Alphonso grafted mango saplings.
