How to post a Classifieds Ad?

The CLASSIFIEDS section is just like this forum but it is more suitable for listing offers/requirements. Posting an ad in this section will get you a better response.

Here are the steps to post a Classifieds ad -

- Click on the “Classifieds” link at the top of the page.
- Click on “Place an ad” on the right hand side of the page
- Choose the type of ad you want to place and click on submit i.e

1. For Sale (if you want to sell something)
2. Wanted (if you want to buy something) or
3. Help Wanted (if you need assistance on any matter)

- Choose the category you wish to place your ad and click submit

You will be taken to an online form page. The fields that you need to fill in are:

What is it you are looking for?

Here, please provide a short caption to your ad. It should clearly state your requirement.

How long do you want your ad to run?

Specify the number of days for which you would like your ad to appear.

Item description

Describe your offer/requirement in details here. You can include you contact details also.

To help users find your ad, please enter a few (up to 10) descriptive keywords (separated by spaces)

Enter words related to your ad. When people search using those words, they will be directed to your ad.

Want to be notified by email when users post replies?

Select ‘Yes’ if you want an email notification each time someone posts a reply to your ad. This is recommended.
Select ‘No’ if you do not want to be notified at all. You would have to login and check for replies.

Upload a relevant related photo and submit. Please note that you can upload Photos in the "For sale" section only and not in the "Wanted" section.

Once your ad is approved by one of the moderators, it will be displayed at the site.
