Contact emails/phone numbers not allowed in posting

Thanks for your message.

My self, I am not sure not allowing personnel contact details in public portal is correct or not. But once decided we should follow it properly.One of the administrator posted on 29.10.2007 as"we treat very seriously the problem of spamming and misleading information.We will keep a close watch on their posts and even ban them." Why can't you follow the same procedure here also.I feel better remind the members who are not following the policy of "do not post the contact details" once or twice,then suspend their membership.

If you want, better you ask other members opinions and take the final decision.

In your above message (posting) you have mentioned "No posts by Non-Business members are allowed to include contact
details". After your posting (this message) I have posted my opinion, but there is no response for that. Even today so many posts are there with full contact details.There may be some problems / compulsions which prevents you to follow the forum Policy strictly and which I am not able understand.Instead of not allowing few members contact details in their posts and allowing all other members posts with their full contact details,I feel better allow all non-business members posts also with their
contact details uniformly with out any partiality(some can think). I request you better consult other moderators and if you feel ask for the opinions of members and take a good decision.Earlier decision is good for the FORUM.

We appreciate your concern. Everyday we check all posts to delete the contact info. This is done impartially.

As a policy, we cannot allow non-Business members to post their contact info

Till today so many posts appear with full contact details.I am not asking you to allow the contact details of non business members. And it may not be possible to watch 24 hours and delete the contact details in every post. All the members on their own should respect the policy of the forum. Some members are trying to fool by adding the contact details in between the message itself -
xyz@ abc. com and tel nos. ninexxxxxxxxy.

You can add some instructions in the program, so that the server itself will reject the posts with contact details (non eligible members) or it can show "remove contact details" .Anyway you did not give your opinion for my previous postings.

Junior Member - One who has just joined and made a few posts.

Member and Senior member - As the time since joining as well as the no. of posts made increases, a Junior Member is automatically made a Member and then a Senior member.

Verified Member - Some members are Verified as per a paid older scheme which has now been discontinued. These members are allowed to post contact info.

Business Member - Members who have paid the fee and enjoy all business privileges at our site.

Hope this clarifies.

by putting 1900 rs you are crippling your own site
instead introduce Membership for one week
so people will get a feel of it at low cost
and also give rewards for best posts every wek by awarding them
with free week to improve quality
