Taking an early retirement from corporate world, wish start my second innings as a coffee estate owner / planter etc. In this connection need advice from experienced and experts. My queries are as under :
1. Ideal location
2. Coffee varieties / their names in order of best to not so best.
3. Their respective yields per acre and its approx sale price per 50 kg bag.
4. Pesticide consumption, cost, and frequency per acre.
5. Pepper varieties in coffee estates their names in order of best to not so best.
6. Their respective yields per acre and its approx sale price per 50 kg bag.
7. Timber trees in coffee estate suited for providing shade and if they can be sold as timber - their varieties.
8. How many per acre?
9. How many years before a tree can be cut and sold ?
10. Average selling price each variety fetches .
11. Labour required ( No's ) per acre for maintenance.
Any additional information i may require for smooth start of my innings as a coffee grower - please share.
