Biothane is actually purified and compressed Biogas upraded to automobile fuel standards.
There are many scientists in India and abroad, working on fine tuning this Biogas to replace literally all our present fossil fuels(LPG/Diesel/ Petrol etc..) and more number of organisations are taking up these new inventions to implement them on field level.
The benefits are obvious. Being a fuel obtained from wastes is a definite advantage and by not adding “Net” to Global Warming, Biothane would by far outperform and surpass any other existing fuel in the market.
