sir,
plz help me in knowing the details[cost of seed,climatic nature,...] i am frm andra pradesh,HYDERABAD is our climate suitable for cultivation i am intrested in growing this crop sappan wood crop so plz give me the details of cultivation of sappan wood crop, per acre how many plants can be grown,the cost of each plant,how much time it takes to grow up fully for use. The market for this plant is exactly were and what are the purposes used for. Plz help me out. Thank u. |

The Hindu : Sappan, a natural dye yielding ornamental medicinal plant The main use of the wood seems to be for producing natural dye, and the pods are used to produce tannin for leather industry. And for live fencing. Grows well in all kinds of soil but best in red soils, tolerates drought. What are your plans with growing sappan? Regds, HM |
