I have dry lands in rayakottai. I would like to know what are the innovative options available for farming around this region, which would not require much water.

Default Dry land farming

you may go far moisture stress tolerent medicinal and aromatic plants. With perennial crops that will require planting in rainy season and give return for 4-5 years making very efficient use of rain water and stored soil water. Such crops can assure u a return of rs.15000-20000/acre/year.
