IT in Agriculture

Hi Entrepreneurs,

I have been hearing in and around a lot about different aspects of agriculture. But has any one come across the real time application of IT practices in agriculture?

I am a software professional with a graduate degree in agriculture (my parent qualification), so this thought always comes in my mind that how agriculture can be benefited with IT.
