Four-day training programme for making ideal dairy farm

This training will be a mix of both theory and practical hands on training.

All accommodations and food arrangement will done from our side for all the 4 days at farm.

Venue:
Kesariya Farm, Village: Raas,
Taluka : Shahapur, District: Thane,
Maharashtra.
It is 65 km from Mumbai on Mumbai Nashik highway.

2nd October 2016

9:00 AM Introduction to Indian breeds of cows, their physiology and biology
9:30 AM Identification of Gir Cow, selection criteria to choose cows for better productivity.
10:15 AM Break
10:30 AM Feed management - cultivation of organic green and dry fodder, preparing your own concentrate formula as per age and life stage of cows.
1:15 PM Lunch
2:30 PM Habitat Management - for stress free and highly productive cows
4:30 PM Break
4:45 PM Pregnancy Management - for healthy new generation and easy delivery, nutrient level and weight based approach
5:30 PM Calf management - to attain timely maturity and best productivity during their lifetime.
6:00 PM Practical Visualisation of whole day discussion in the gaushala.
8:00 PM Dinner and discussions on queries of participants.

3rd October 2016
4:00 AM Morning management of Cow and Calf and gaushala
8:00 AM Breakfast
9:00 AM Bull selection & Management for healthy and high pedigree offspring
10:15 AM Break
10:30 AM Bull Habitat & Feed management
11:15 AM Heifer management as per best scientific research
1:30 PM Lunch
2:30 PM Cow Health, Disease & Management, monitoring, precautionary care and treatments based in Ayurveda, homeopathy
5:00 PM Break
5:15 PM Transportation of cow - for easy and stress free transition
6:00 PM Practical learning of whole day discussions
8:00 PM Dinner

4th October 2016
8: 00 AM Cow and Human Health- a perspective for creating best products for consumers
11:00 AM onwards Making of Panchgavya and other products and their uses, effects on human health.

5th October 2016
9:00 AM Dairy farming & Agriculture - trends, opportunity for organic Agriculture
10:30 AM Break
10:45 AM Making of nutrient supplying and natural pesticide products to be used in Agriculture
1:30 PM Lunch
2:30 PM Making Organic Kitchen garden at Home for year around vegetable supply for a family.
5:00 PM Ending of Training - Questions session and discussion session

Fees - Rs 12,000

The second schedule of the same training will be held in Nov from 26-29 Nov
