Presently pursuing M. Tech from Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh (Gujarat) in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil and Water Engineering.
Currently working on “Assessment of Groundwater Recharge in a Jamka micro watershed of Saurashtra region using Remote Sensing and GIS” as my topic of dissertation.
Career Objective

1) Determination of Engineering Properties of Laterite Soil Cement Blocks
Laterite soil is found mostly in konkan region of Maharashtra. These blocks are manufactured locally and good substitute for natural laterite soil blocks also strength of these blocks is comparatively more. The knowledge generated through this study will be of great use for the use of these blocks as a building material and for enhancing business of block manufacturing.
2) Assessment of Groundwater Recharge in a Jamaka micro watershed of Saurashtra region using Remote sensing and GIS
Groundwater recharge of is expected to increase worldwide as populations rise. In the study area i.e. Saurashtra region of Gujarat state rate of pumping of groundwater is very high resulting in lowering of groundwater table and seawater intrusion in coastal areas at very high rate. The ground water recharge methods can improve groundwater table and thus quality of groundwater and by that decrease rate of seawater intrusion.

1) Training in SRFMTTI Garladinne, Anantpur (A. P.) during B. Tech. in 2004
One month practical training on selection, operation, maintenance and repair of the tractor and agricultural implements, including I.C. engines, centrifugal pumps, plant protection equipments, and combine harvesters.
2) Training in CIAE Bhopal (M. P.) during B. Tech. in 2005
One month practical training on Agricultural Engineering, performance of lightweight seed cleaner. Operations and performance of dal mill and air cleaner.
3) Training on “Water Management and Ground Water Utilization” conducted by Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) during 2007.
One day training on current status of groundwater in Gujarat, Methods
to improve groundwater status various techniques of artificial recharge.
4) One week Training on “Leadership and Entrepreneurship development” organized by International school of public leadership,
Gandhinagar and Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh during
2007.
5) Training on “Mountain hydrology” conducted by National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee in collaboration with Junagadh Agricultural University during 2008.
Twelve days training on various aspects of Mountain Hydrology.
