There is considerable awareness among a section of people (suger free users) about Stevia suger. This can be exploited in right way. Regirous research is also on its way to come out with various alternatives. This is just a transition period before a boom of Stevia. The current price fluctuations are result of this confusion and markets are little aprehensive at this stage. What is available in markets is just a fraction of what is allocated under cultivation. Sooner a stage will come where the prices will shoot up again. I can not say when but its bound to happen. China is one of the largest producer of Stevia in the world. Obviously we are going to get some of its end products in local markets.
sir,
YOU SAID IN THE SECOND SENTENCE THAT THE STEVIOSIDE PRODUCED IS EXPORTED FORM INDIA. Can any body say where and who is the manufacturer in India. I will be visiting the factory with in a week and will besigning the aggrement for the supply of stevia dry leaves at Rs 50/- kg of freshly dried stevia leaves.
Sir, the rates of other suppliers from abroad is very low then the INDIAN produce. It is very tough to sell the produce at higher rate.
