Dear Sir,
I am a farmer with 52 acres of land with irrigation facilities. I do have the ability to invest in processing systems and further facilities as required. Currently, I am cultivating coffee, pepper, fruits in around 9 acres of land and vegetables in around 30 acres of land. The rest of the land is uncultivated. I am interested in exploring the possibility of working with your company.
I have a masters degree in engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. I have travelled and worked around the world. I have chosen to take up farming full time as a profession and have been running the farm for the last 2 years.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards
Rajnish Radhakrishnan

We not looking for any hi-tech production capabilities/experience and are very interested in marginal agricultural zones in India, since most of the seed production operations are not mechanical and are worker oriented. We have more than 10 years of working relationships in India and are very well aware of the adaptability and capabilities of different production zones/states and their climate. This information need not be provided.
We are only interested in serious inquiries for development of long term relationships. People having agricultural land but no agricultural experience need not send a reply. We are interested in developing contacts with persons/organizations where their main activity is agriculture. We are also not interested in any middle men or agencies for this purpose and are looking for the actual agricultural contacts.
If you are interested please reply to this query with you contact information, experience with agriculture, capabilities and facilities available. As mentioned lack of experience/facilities will not be a drawback and we can help in building expertise.
Note added for all the inquiries we have been getting:
We are in the process of finalizing our plans to get in touch with people/organizations who have responded to our query. We wanted to provide some preliminary information regarding the proposed plan for 2007:
The production cycle would entail growing of crops for seeds/plant products as end products in September/October of 2007 with a harvest in April/May of the next year. We will supply the stock seed for plantation, will provide technical guidance for cultivation/agricultural practices and will buy back at predefined rates the entire seed/plant product produced by our partner. The cultivation does not require any specialized agricultural practices or equipment. Therefore, there is no additional investment is required for the farming operations other than what is currently being used for routine cultivation of cereals, vegetables or other agricultural crops.
REPLY TO PROSPECTIVE PARTNERS/ORGANIZATIONS FOR CONTRACT PRODUCTION
WE HAVE RECEIVED OVER 700 REPLIES TO OUR REQUEST FOR PARTNERS/ORGANIZATIONS FOR AN EXPORT ORIENTED CONTRACT SEED PRODUCTION VENTURE.
It is taking us a substantial amount of time to sort out all the queries to assess the suitability and fit of each person/organization for our business partnership. Please include your contact information when you reply to our post, we can no longer handle queries which don’t list their contact information. Please also include the current availability of land for the contract production for the year 2007-08.
We aim to start the business relationship as an assessment year, which will include the plantation of the contract production together with performance evaluation, understanding business values of our partners and their interest/capabilities in a long term relationship. We will develop the relationship into a stronger and substantial affiliation based on the first year’s accomplishments.
