Stevia cultivation is possible in any climate. Earlier it was believed that it grows only in cold/moderate climates. We are cultivating Stevia in 45 degree centigrade. It is absolutely fine. The thing is whether it is adapted to the local environment or not. When we started Stevia Cultivation it took about 6 months to get it fully acclamatised to the local environment. After that it established verywell. You need to ensure enough moisture at rootzone.
We buyback at market rate depending on the stevioside content in the dry leaf. Higher the content higher the price. Currently the market rates are varying from Rs.60 to Rs.90 based on Stevioside content. It could be cultivated in entire central India and Southern India apart from part of Northern India where ever water is available and soils are sandy loam type.
