Stevioside is more temperature stable than Reb-A so generally people do not consider the Reb-A content while determining the total glycosides content. This is a old system and now most of us we test for both glycosides. Secondly most Indian material have 80% stevioside and 20% Reb-A. However plants with the reverse is now available as well.

Thew factors that determine the content of these two glycosides and theri ratio are

1. Variety
2. Hours of day length
3. Time of harvest
4. PHT

Red soils, acidic PH, good drainage, Temperature range of 15-40C, lots of water available, than you can try 1000 plants to start with.

Regards
